With the unpredictable nature of our world right now, many of us can only dream about escaping to a sun drenched destination and unplugging from the daily grind.
But for now, what we can do is create lists of our favourite places around Australia and make some very detailed plans for when we can next visit.
For many of us here at Forever New, one of those beloved places is Byron Bay, and it’s definitely at the top of the list for Lucy Brownless. Melbourne personality and style influencer, Lucy gives us her travel tips for a stay in one of NSW’s most stylish destinations.
WHERE TO EAT
“My favourite spots are The Roadhouse for pizza and drinks, La Casita for fresh Mexican – the tres leches dessert is to die for! – and Ciao Mate for delicious pasta. But for something with more character, Kouzina is my number one local gem. It is super cute sitting outside in the courtyard on a balmy night and it’s the best Greek food I’ve ever had.”
“Watergos Beach is my favourite, it’s always so calm and peaceful and on a quiet day you can get a pretty private spot around the rocks. If you’re feeling more adventurous, pack a picnic and drive along the coast between Tallow Beach and Lennox Head, you’ll find some amazing private beaches that you can stay at all day.”

WHERE TO GIRL'S DAY
"Do a long lunch with your girls at either The Hut or Shelter in Lennox Head. My friends are loving Frida's Field, I haven’t been able to go yet but that’s next on my list.”
