Q: Hi Darcy, we are obsessed with your summer in Italy. It looks so gorgeous. What has been your favourite part of your trip?

A: Travelling to somewhere new. I have travelled to Europe before but never to Sardinia and Sicily, which are two places that have been on my bucket list for years!

Q: What are your go-to ‘summer in Europe’ styles?

A: I love light summer dresses that are perfect to throw on over a bikini, so you can go from beach to bar, and still look put together. One of my favourite styles on this trip has been my black mini dresssimple but stunning and easy to style for every day.

Q: Do you have any tips and tricks for packing for a long trip overseas?

A: Pack items that are light and fun to style,  it's very hot [in Italy in the summer], so you don’t want to be taking heavy items of clothing. I packed a lot of simple outfits, but I'll always use different accessories to style them up and turn them into different looks for different days. My gold Forever New jewellery and sunglasses came in handy!

Q: What is in your carry on bag for the plane?

A: My laptop, neck pillow, moisturiser, kindle, sandals and a pair of sunglasses.

Q: We all know that it’s easy to over-pack, how do you curate the perfect resort wardrobe?

A: I definitely over-packed haha...but I planned certain outfits for different locations. For example, when I was visiting Sardinia, I planned to wear my bikini most of the time and styled it with skirts and pants. Then when I visited Sicily, I planned to wear more linen dresses and a bit more colour. I wore all of my Forever New pieces when I was in Taormina, because I knew it was a really cool and stylish coastal town. My best advice is plan ahead as much as you can to avoid packing things you won't need.

Q: Finally, we just have to know, where is the best beach in Italy?

A: I visited one of the most beautiful beaches in Italy, and my goodness, it was stunning. This beach was all over social media, it was called 'Cala Mariolu’, so obviously I had to check it out but you could only access it via boat. So, we did a boat day and it was absolutely insane. 100% recommend if you ever visit Sardinia!
