Winter Girl’s Getaway

Steph, Laura, and Lisa escaped the city for a night in beautiful Red Hill

Who doesn’t love a cosy autumn girl’s getaway? My beautiful friends and I were lucky enough to be invited on a midweek escape with Forever New. Steph, Laura, and I were so excited to escape the city for a night to beautiful Red Hill.

We arrived to the most divine winery overlooking a beautiful orchard under a cloudless autumn sky. After exploring the vineyards and taking a few snaps along the way, we settled under the sun to enjoy a glass of red or two. Absolute bliss.

Next up we made our way to Nord House, a beautiful Scandinavian style cottage in the heart of Red Hill which would be our home away from home for the evening. The space was so beautiful – think white wooden floorboards, beautifully crumpled bed linen, and cosy furnishings – we were practically squealing with delight! Not only where we met with this stunning accommodation but the entire house was decked out with gorgeous Forever New pieces for us to wear. Could we be anymore spoilt?

Of course we could! The night continued with a dinner booking at one of Red Hill’s most coveted restaurants, The Epicurean, where we found ourselves a warm spot by the fire and ate delicious wood-fired pizzas. Then it was home to our comfortable Nordic beds, but not before a few heated board games to finish off a wonderful day!

The next morning, we awoke to clear blue skies, so we decided to explore Red Hill’s picturesque countryside with a power walk. We stumbled upon a gorgeous bush trail just up the road from our house, making the walk a perfect way to start the day. We walked passed vineyards, horse yards, and beautiful sea views (in our Forever New active wear of course!).

After returning from our walk it was time to cave in to those morning hunger cravings. We found a quaint local cafe, that doubled as a grocery store, in nearby Merricks and ate a delicious, hearty breakfast. Everything was so fresh and delicious that I had to pick up a few supplies for the drive home.

And then – way too quickly – our getaway was over. Thank you so much to the lovely team at Forever New for spoiling us, we had the best time ever and cannot wait for the next one!
