A luxe, elevated collection calls for a sophisticated photoshoot location, and Melbourne's iconic Siglo offered us just that for our recent shoot.
Situated in the ‘Paris’ end of Collins Street, Siglo is a stunning European-style open-air rooftop terrace with designs inspired by the Princess Theatre’s 19th century mural and 20th century French industrial steel and glass architecture.
Siglo is a quaint spot that puts Melbourne’s best on display, complete with views of Parliament House, St Patrick’s Cathedral and the Princess Theatre. This gorgeous terrace was the perfect, classic backdrop for our winter shoot.
The stand-out Parisian look of the day was an off-white high neck knit, paired with a billowing black pleated midi skirt – a wardrobe essential this winter. Plush faux fur lined coats were styled over timeless black basics such as a faux leather mini-skirt and a tight, high-neck knit.
Straight-line coats in light greys and blush pinks layered beautifully over skinny-jeans and white blouses. Midi dresses with waist-accentuating details and flowing skirts created feminine silhouettes that fit effortlessly in the elegant setting.
Glamorous finishing touches were made with sparkling drop earrings and chic pointed boots, while oversized woven scarves and simple crossbody bags with chain detailing added a street-ready flare to refined looks.
